Venue and accommodation

The event will be held at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences premises in the Physics Faculty of the University of Barcelona.

All the sessions will take place at the Sala de Graus Eduard Fontserè (Physics Faculty), except the session on Friday morning, which will take place at the Antiga Sala de Graus (Physics Faculty). You can check this at the timetable.

Indications to reach the ICCUB:

Hereby are instructions to get to the Physics Faculty of the University of Barcelona from the Barcelona – El Prat airport.

The easiest option is to take the metro at the airport itself. The metro line is called L9 Sud (there is no possible confusion since it is the only metro line there) and ride all the line until the last stop which is called Zona Universitària.

From there it’s just an 8 minute walk to the Physics Faculty, although you also have the option of taking the L3 metro line for one stop and geting off at the Palau Reial stop. In that case, it’s a 3 minute walk to the faculty.

ACCOMODATION

Regarding the accomodation, all participants are asked to arrange their own reservation. We provide below some information about student residences with hotel services.

Suggested Accomodation- ALEU Residence

Placed right next to our Faculty, they just opened the doors. They offer single rooms and access to the gym and laundry services, among others. Visit their website for more information.

We strongly suggest this accomodation. If you choose them, please contact aleu@nexoresidencias.com stating that you are registered for the TechnoWeek (it is required to present the registration email).
