The ICCUB GW meeting is an informal internal one-day event to establish a clear overview of the current efforts in gravitational-wave science across the institute. The aim of this meeting is to identify research activities, both within gravitational-wave groups and in adjacent areas (including multimessenger astronomy, gravity, or dense matter physics). We are thus looking for contributions across the whole Institute.

Attendance is intended for postdoctoral researchers and senior staff members. This initial one-day meeting will have brief overviews of ongoing activities, including the current efforts of the ICCUB GW group and the Technological Unit. We expect the discussion to focus on contributions to the LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA collaboration; Einstein Telescope and LISA, but we are also hoping to discuss observatories at different frequencies as well as multimessenger efforts at ICCUB.

A key objective is to identify potential cross‑field synergies that could strengthen our collective research impact. Ultimately, this exercise is intended to articulate a clear strategic vision for gravitational-wave science at the ICCUB, to optimally exploit current efforts; identify opportunities for resource sharing and/or establish new initiatives that can enhance our overall program.

The meeting will take place at the Seminari Josep Maria Codina in Floor 5 and/or online via zoom,
