Internal PhD School 2026
What about it?
The PhD community in the ICCUB is putting together a School on physics for all the PhD students (and interested Postdocs) in the ICCUB/faculty. This consists on a series of classes/lectures/presentations on the different topics that are being studied at the ICCUB.
The main goal of these classes is to expand our knowledge on physics topics that are not necessarily related to our individual theses. The idea is to fill in the knowledge gap between the Master courses and the PhD research, updating on state-of-the-art advances in the fields of interest; so we can all make the most out of the seminars, activities and collaborations happening at the Institute.
Format
The classes are given mainly by the PhD community and postdocs. It is an internal activity, regarding both participants and lecturers. The format is a longer-term activity with sessions every 2-3 weeks.
It is important that the participation is high, so we encourage everyone to express their opinion on both the topics and the format.
