Barcelona Techno weeks are a series of meeting point events between academia and industry, organised around a technological topic of interest for both worlds. They will include comprehensive multidisciplinary keynote presentations by world experts on the selected subjects combined with networking activities to foster collaboration among participants.

 

Course on nanosatellites

The forth ICCUB technoweek will be devoted to the emerging field of nanosatellites. It will be an intensive 5-day “bootcamp”, providing a comprehensive introduction to the basic concepts of nanosatellite design and construction.

  • Keynotes, classes and workshops
  • Industrial participation (exhibition area and presentations)
  • Poster session (from participants and industry)

Workshop: cubesat proposal

During the workshops the attendants will be arranged in groups which will define a cubesat mission and make a preliminary design. The group will receive support and advice from the lecturers and organizers. At the end of the TechnoWeek, the proposals will be presented and will be evaluated by a committee.

 

Who it is aimed at

The event is aimed at researchers, postdocs, PhD students and industry professionals, working in related fields: astrophysics, earth observation, telecommunications, electronics, optics, mechanics, etc.
