School on transferable skills for the PhD students from the Revealing the Milky Way with Gaia MWGaiaDN network. The school is also open to a limited number of participants from outside the network.
It will take place from the 2nd to the 6th June 2025 and it will be in-person.
Objectives
- introduction to formal software project management techniques
- Human resource management, project planning, financial control, risk management, scientific project control.
- Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and how patents, licensing rights are managed
- Knowledge and Technology transfer (KTT) in science
- specific enterprise training
- team-work skills
