The Barcelona City Council has granted the QNP2024 Conference the "General call for subsidy applications for district and city projects, activities and services for 2024", a call which aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Promote activities of public or social interest for Barcelona
- Improve cohesion and social inclusion of the city
- Promote social and cultural values and new forms of participation
- Promote cooperation between the public sector, the non-profit sector and the private sector
- Foster values of civility and coexistence in the city
- Promote community action
IUPAP
The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) is the only international physics organization that is organized and run by the physics community itself. Its members are identified physics communities in countries or regions around the world.
The IUPAP was established in 1922 in Brussels with 13 Member countries and the first General Assembly was held in 1923 in Paris. It currently has 60 country members.
Its main goal is to assist in the worldwide development of physics, to foster international cooperation in physics, and to help in the application of physics toward solving problems of concern to humanity.
NuPECC
The Nuclear Physics European Collaboration Committee (NuPECC) is an Expert Committee of the European Science Foundation.
The objective of NuPECC is to:
- Develop the strategy for European Collaboration in nuclear science by supporting collaborative ventures between research groups within Europe
- Promote nuclear physics and its trans-disciplinary use in applications for societal benefit.
