School
The school will take place at the Irchel campus of the University of Zurich, in building Y36, room K08 (old library). It is aimed at PhD students and young postdocs in the field of particle and high energy physics. Basic knowledge of quantum field theory and particle physics is expected from the participants.
Due to a limited number of places and fundings, we can only host up to ~ 30 students. Selected students will be informed by email (by the end of May) and asked to pay the school fee of 200 CHF to secure their spots. If not selected, participants will be put on a waiting list and contacted in case a free spot appears.
We might be able to provide limited financial assistance. Please indicate in the registration form if you require financial support to come at the school.
Accommodation and Meals
Participants are expected to organize their accommodation by themselves. We are happy to answer questions as well as provide suggestions and assistance if needed for housing opportunities in Zurich!
The lunch meals, the coffee breaks and the social event (dinner) are covered by the schools fees (200 CHF). The dinners and breakfasts are not included.
