The workshop on Variable Galactic Gamma-Ray Sources (VGGRS) VII will mostly focus on observational studies and modelling  of gamma-ray binary systems and related objects, covering recent  discoveries and advances in the field.

We will also take this opportunity to celebrate the long and very fruitful career of Prof. Josep Maria Paredes, who recently became Professor Emeritus of the University of Barcelona. 

Prof. Paredes has been a leading figure in studying binary systems for over four decades, contributing very significantly to research in this field, and mentoring several generations of scientists.

Participation is by invitation only.
