Description

The Nuclei in the Cosmos School 2025 (NIC School) will take place in downtown Barcelona on June 10 - 13, 2025, preceding the International Symposium on Nuclei in the Cosmos XVIII.  The NIC School is especially aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers.  It will cover a rich variety of topics in Nuclear Astrophysics, providing basic background for those planning to attend the NIC 2025 Symposium. However, participation in the symposium is not a prerequisite for attending the NIC School.

The School will combine lectures and hands-on activities, including remote observations with the Nordic Optical Telescope (NOT), and a hands-on session on Big Bang Nucleosynthesis.
